Audio Quality - Factors to the general quality

Factors that can affect audio quality:

Noise - Noise can deteriorate audio quality by making static sounds over/under the main audio.
Distortion - Audio being distorted creating odd sound patterns.
Echo - Sounds recorded externally can produce echos due to the room or microphone.
File type and Compression - .mp3 files are lossless but not completely and the way it is enconded lowers the size of the file but it loses quality because of the low compression. .flac files however has a large size but it is completely lossless.
Volume - Sounds that are loud tend to create too much noise due to the mic being overloaded with sound. Over-amplified audio will sound terrible due to spikes in the audio pattern.
